I used to waste time in IT as well. You can not go around it. You have to waste time. Otherwise, other people look at you and ask what’s wrong with you.

Massif: a bitch slap is definitely called for. I’m over it now, but having this huge spray was part of getting out of my system. Oh, and I’ve already done two lolcats videos.

Tom: I agree with the surprise/word of mouth thing – I just know other people are way smarter than me a generating that buzz.

Kitty: The quality of my regular readers/viewers makes me very happy most of the time. It’s only occasionally I have to fight off negativity like this.
