A recent purchase has led me to believe I may actually be a (shock, horror) nerd! So much so that I’ve thrown out a challenge: can you out-nerd me?
And I really do promise to start writing longer pieces again.

I (used to) own a remote controlled C3-PO. If you pressed the toggle switch one way, it went straight forward. If you pressed the other way, it went backwards in an arc, with the theory that you could (eventually) get the thing to go anywhere.
Admittedly, I was around 7 years old at the time….
Things haven’t changed much.

I’ve seen the movie 2001 A Space Odyssey at least a hundred times. I know all the dialog by heart, and I know why HAL9000 became evil.

Yes, I am old school. (51) I saw 2001 when originally released in 1968. I was too young to understand it then, but it had its effect anyway. Thanks for the cred nod Mr Angry, you’ve made my day!
