It’s rare that I have cause for complaint with WordPress but something’s gone totally screwy with comments in the last 24 hours. This happens to coincide with me changing to one of their newer templates so, as a precaution, I’ve changed back to one of the proven templates. It’s a shame because I quite liked the other template. I’ll send a note to support to see if they can fix it.
In the meantime, I’ll try to manually rearrange the comments at some point today so they are in the place they are obviously intended to be. For those who haven’t noticed the problem is, people leave a comment for one particular post and it ends up being attached to a totally different post. Makes it a bit hard to respond and keep the “conversation” making sense.
So, apologies to anybody this happened to – I’m not deliberately trying to make you look dumb. And I certainly don’t want to look dumb. Hopefully changing templates has fixed this and if the fine folk at WordPress can fix the other template I may well swap back to it.

I had a similar problem earlier today, except it was link for one of my static “Pages” pointing to a regular post. And I’m not using a new Template, I think (only been here a couple weeks).

So what’s going on with you mate? I managed to get some new haters without even posting anything for a month and my daily visits were quite high and steady for an absent blogger. Anyways, just got my terabyte workstation with 2 gigs of ram and a monster 22 inch viewsonic widescreen lcd screen.
