The mathematics of anger

I am often asked how I decide what to write and/or do videos on.  Well the thought process is a complex one.  It is executed with mathematical precision.  With that in mind, I present the Angry Venn Diagram:

I do like to offend people but I have to offend them just right!

  1. I find that your post and or videos are more challenging than offensive. I guess that is since I’m not a Christian and I see through the left right political paradigm. I actually find you intriguing Angry. By blogging, you are showing somewhat who you are.

  2. dismutased

    Your brain… it’s so interesting!

Such a beautiful use of a venn diagram. Your formula obviously works very efficiently, you even manage to offend me and that’s quite an achievement!

  3. custador

I don’t think you’ve ever managed to offend me, therefore your thinking must be just right! Huzzah!

  4. Tyjet88

    That’s BRILLIANT!

  5. Awesome!! but i must say that the first few comments are just a blur of crap disguised as thought and conveyed to us as typed out woffle.

  6. @Jase

What are you talking about? How can something be disguised as though? Who is doing the Woffling here?

  7. tom

You’re on to something here. Maybe another master’s thesis idea you could auction off on e-bay!

Just a note to let you know that you are being featured in my latest work-in-progress, a bit of “atheist pulp fiction” called ‘Missy Tonight’ (the exciting sequel to my ‘Orange Car with Stripes’), where you’re the very model of internet virality (?) my hero hopes to emulate (in chapter three, http://missytonight.blogspot.com/2008/09/andrea-taylor.html)

I’ve not been commenting lately, but I do keep up to date with every post via Google Reader – you’ve still got one of the best blogs going after all this time!

  8. Cool diagram and a very well-organized system you got there, Angry.

“I find that your post and or videos are more challenging than offensive. I guess that is since I’m not a Christian and I see through the left right political paradigm.”

I would describe this (the above text that i believe is your text) as Crap!!! and Woffle!!!

I said “disguised as thought” because you are so good at woffle that it must come naturally to you and therefore no thought involved. You then go and use big words to try to convince us that you are a person able to put together one coherent thought.

BTW notice the CAPITALS, that was to emphasise how useless your comment was.

  10. custador

Jase, stop trolling, you’re being a dick. That is all.

  11. @Jace

Well you are welcome to your opinion. BTW, you contradict yourself since the action of using big words to impress when writing something does require thought. I will leave it up to you to think about what I mean by that.

Do you understand what I mean by the left right political paradigm?

  12. Excuse Me!!!

Trolling??? just because i make a simple observation, thats harsh, and if anything a comment like “Who is doing the Woffling here?” seems like a challenge to me concidering the fact that i only had one sentence in my comment

how am i being a dick when im am mearly defending my comment, what i said may have been a bit harsh but have you actually read those comments?

  13. @ everyone

alright i give up, its too much effort to keep replying to everyone, all i was doing was commenting on Mr Angry’s diagram and post, unfortunately i made the mistake of commenting on the comments aswell

    @ alan

yes i do understand, what i was getting at was that writing your thoughts in a concise manner is something that people may want to take onboard.

besides did you notice that i only quoted half your comment, this was done intentionally

  14. @Jace

It not ‘defending’ your comment, it’s ‘justifying’ your comment. As I said, who is doing the Woffling here?

  15. @Jace

So what is your point? What are you trying to say? If you are remarking on my grammar, well I’m the first to admit that I do have problems.

  16. look mate!! give it up, we all have problems, don’t take them out on me.

i don’t need your approval to get on with my life.
i put this arguement to rest and you just keep bringing it back to life. well you know what???
    :P to you

    A) You make no frickin’ sense!

    B) How is spouting random insults at other posters not trolling?

    C) It’s “waffling”, not “woffling”.

    D) That is all. Carry on.

  18. look if you want to fight this out send me an email and i will explain everything in full, as you obviously have trouble understanding simple concepts, it all written in english and all the words i use have a specific meaning, use a dictionary and work it out, otherwise, i dont care

your pretentious comments leave me annoyed and disheartened at the fact that people cant seem to let go and move on.

  19. Alan: I thing an astute reader could certainly get an insight into my mind’s working here.

Dismutased: It is a finely tuned equation!

    Custador: Huzzah!

    Tyler: Thanks :)

Lauren: Thanks to you too :)

Tom: nice to know you’re still around! And I will check out the story directly.

    Blackcat: I do my best!

And I don’t think it’s necessary for me to add any comment on the drivel provided by jase.
