Misogynists STFU!

When I look around and see the abuse of women that’s become common on internet forums, the media, politics and popular culture it makes me sick. It’s reached the stage where the only thing I want to say to rights deniers, rape apologists, victim blamers, slut shamers and outright misogynists is shut the fuck up!

And to anyone who says “oh no, you need to engage in constructive dialogue,” I say “Fuck that shit!” I know who I’m talking about and these people are not capable of constructive engagement. They lie and say they are when they have no intention of listening to any differing viewpoints. Or they pretend to but all they are interested in doing is mansplaining how a woman’s actual life experience is irrelevant next to their all encompassing wisdom. Or they’re actually too fucking stupid to understand they do not have a fucking clue what they’re on about.

Whatever the case, for anyone who’s genuinely ready for intelligent discourse there are people out there who are more intelligent, more experienced, more eloquent and more patient than me who have it covered. Today I’m all about the catharsis. I’m sick of you fuckers and you can all shut the fuck up.

Let’s get the obvious culprits out of the way first. The following are variations of the bullshit spouted every day in response to rape:

“She asked for it.”

“She wasn’t really raped.”

“Was it a legitimate rape?”

“It isn’t rape if…”

“Why didn’t she…”

“She shouldn’t have…”

If you have ever said anything like that just shut the fuck up! You have nothing to contribute, you’re a fucking moron and until you get something vaguely approaching a clue you need to shut the fuck up.

Here’s a tip: take the shit that’s obviously blocking your ears when it comes to listening to women’s issues and stuff it in your mouth. That way, while we’re all getting a break from listening to your shit you might actually manage to hear the truth about what women have to put up with every single day.

And a quick aside to the men who wholeheartedly condemn rape and say how disgusted they are by rapists but then can’t hold back from making judgements on victims of rape. “She shouldn’t have dressed like that.” “Why did she drink so much?” “Why was she walking alone at night?” “What did she expect when she’d been dancing like that?” “Why did she lead him on?” YOU ARE THE FUCKING PROBLEM!

You are not helping by telling women what they should and shouldn’t do. All you are doing is making excuses for rapists! There is only one way to stop rape and that is if men stop raping. All this victim blaming does is illustrate that deep down, you think women are asking for it. Of course it’s never a bad idea for everyone to take safety precautions but the truth is women are not safe no matter what they do. They’re not safe out on the town at night, they’re not safe during the day, they’re not safe in a taxi, they’re not safe with people they know, they’re not safe at work and they’re not safe in their own home.

There is only ever one person to blame in a rape and that’s the rapist. No ifs, no buts, the rapist is always 100% at fault. NOBODY deserves to be raped.

And if you’re the type who wants to pipe up with “men also get raped,” or “men also suffer physical abuse at the hands of women,” could you try shutting the fuck up for five seconds? Would it be OK with you if the endemic victimisation and abuse of women could be discussed without you demanding the spotlight be focused on you? In case you’re too stupid to understand, bringing this up doesn’t come across as you saying “here is an important topic that also needs to be discussed.” It comes across as “rape isn’t as big a deal as you say and I’m not comfortable with a discussion unless I dictate the terms of what’s being discussed.” So shut the fuck up.

Rape and violence against men perpetrated by a woman is a real and serious issue. But how about we have one conversation at a time rather than you going “yeah, yeah but let’s talk about me.” If that’s too much for you then just shut the fuck up. You’re not worth bothering with.

The simple statistic is that one in three women will be the target of some sort of sexual assault. So anyone who finds themselves unable to resist blaming the victim, saying it wouldn’t have happened if they had done something different needs to consider that. This will happen to someone you know and should care about. Unless you are nothing more than a vile, contemptible sack of shit, someone you would do anything to protect will be the target of sexual assault. Your friend. Your sister. Your mother, Your daughter. Your partner.

So long as there is anyone saying what women should and shouldn’t do to avoid rape rather than focusing on why men shouldn’t rape, the problem will remain. Nobody should ever have to justify why they didn’t deserve to be raped, no matter what the circumstances. The culture that fosters this mentality is telling rapists they can get away with it and telling women it happened because they deserved it.

And if that’s OK with you, you can just sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up!

Did you see the torrent of abuse suffered by the woman behind “Tropes vs. Videogames” (http://www.feministfrequency.com/tag/tropes-vs-women-in-video-games/)? I’m fairly thick-skinned so when I’m disgusted by the sort of language and behaviour on display over a certain issue then it has to be pretty bad. Some people just seem totally unable to discuss the subject of misogyny without turning into the human version of a sewage pipe overflow.

  2. Yes, I did. It was appalling.

    • Ooh, I just love STFU, especially the rant at guys whose response is to point out that men also are raped and/or sexually abused. I loooove what you have to say to those guys! I used to work at a domestic violence shelter, and I’d go out and speak to church and community groups about the subject. The second I’d finish my spiel, a man in the audience would almost always ask “What about battered men?” My answer, delivered so often I was always ready, was “For the one percent of men who are battered…”

So, great stuff, keep it up!

For the US, 1 in 6 women will face sexual assault in their lifetimes, according to web sources. Is the 1 in 3 in Australia or encompassing the Asiatic seaboard?

I have ran across several women, most especially young girls, who potentially were sexually trafficked victims. I have been approached by a pedophile who attempted to sell a young girl to me in a Starbucks cafe for $$$ but little was done though I made the attempt to call the police via the cafe. I have walked across parking lots where sexual trafficking is about to take place, including a young boy in pajamas in a shopping cart, transferred to another car at Best Buy. Just last night, I suspected sexual trafficking because of a older Hispanic male, and two brunette girls just old enough to be 17 or 18 at a motel.

While young girls and women are victimized in their lifetimes, a lot has to do with the way they dress. The way they dress encourage, invite, and breed more dangers, even if it’s against their will. Do remember that men are visual creatures and can and will be taken advantage of. That’s why women who dress provocatively introduce danger to their lives: that men are willing to sell on the illusion of what that young girl or woman could offer. Even a young boy if it suited his deviant fancies.

Those who were not sexually trafficked victims but are victims to rape has a lot to answer for. I’ll explain why. There was this young girl who wrote on Yahoo! Answers describing her horrific event. She said that she disobeyed her parents by going out when they explicitly said no, went to a friend’s house that hosted a party. A large kegger party even though it was an underage party involving alcohol. She got so drunk she decided to walk home herself. She was too drunk but she recollected that two men were taller than her, possibly college-aged, ambushing her from somewhere and raped her somewhere else after consoling her saying, “Relax, baby. You’ll learn to love it.” Down the week, she realized she was pregnant but had no recollection of who her attackers really were except the description that they were tall, college-aged. The point in this girl’s story wasn’t about how she dressed. She should have obeyed her mommy and daddy before allowing the danger to even manifest. Don’t tell me to shut the fuck up. She should have stopped that danger by LISTENING! Teenagers should HEARKEN to their mother and father because there’s a lot in the world that teenagers don’t know about!

Another one? I worked at a restaurant specializing in quick service, OK food, and one of the worst management ever to serve under. This was years ago but fresh in my mind. There was this Hispanic couple who were married for quite some time. She was heavyset, not my type, but she did suit the eye of a “Vin Diesel”-type guy who was also Hispanic. Her husband was just raucously laughing and so was she at a table. There was another table seating 4 different girls who were obviously friends but laughing at the Hispanic couple for whatever reason. Not sure why. Buckle up because this is about to get different than what you think. The wife of the man got angry, scooted out of her booth, cussed at the girls and then attempted to bend over, pull down her shorts and underwear, baring her butt (or moon-shining) in front of them. This caused disgust on the women’s part but an alluring pleasure from the Vin Diesel-type guy just 3 booths across the floor. Later, as I worked my fast duty as a server assistant, I found her weaving her way into the bathroom. The big guy also followed her in. Minutes later she ran out crying. The Vin Diesel guy stayed, which is pretty crazy considering how it happened. She started cussing him out, talked with her husband to discuss the “rape”. The police came around, wrote up witness statements, and then had to arrest the Vin Diesel guy on the spot and book him at the police station. The Vin Diesel guy would have been ALL RIGHT had she not bared her ass in front of these 4 women. She INVITED an unknown danger, which her husband failed to protect her from! While nakedness was also a precursor to rape, so was drunkenness! Damn it, you can’t defend yourself if you’re gonna be drunk off your ass! This is what happens to women when they drink! They GET RAPED! But too bad, these women will say that they are entitled to alcohol, to get smashed whenever they want, but it still won’t excuse their behavior and how they invite “rapists” into their lives without being able to perceive that danger!

No, it is rape even if alcohol is involved. It is rape also if a man forces himself onto someone whose body belongs to another! It is rape when a man attempts to soil a virgin’s most prized possession, a wonderful gift for a husband she’ll love in her life. It is rape even if drugs are involved, even if baring her ass, getting drunk, and dressing like sluts are involved! It does matter how the woman dresses, acts, and behaves. The more slutty she is, the more crazier she is, the more drunk and vulnerable and defenseless she is, the more unable she’ll be able to defend from a rape. Rape happens because men are visual creatures, and while it sounds like an excuse, it is not. There are many factors that LEAD up to a rape other than just the typical story of frequent pornographic users who lost their self-control.

I have so many to tell you but it’ll take up the whole comment box. The point is, rape is not because it is entirely a man’s fault. It is both the woman and the man who are at fault. The only exception to rape is if the woman is being held against her will, most especially a young girl who had no prior knowledge that deceit, trickery, and treachery would befall upon her, and let’s not exclude young boys who are targeted and molested by pedophiles and sexual traffickers alike. Don’t wage a war against men and call them misogynistic because right now, women will soon have benefits without accountability, financial support without men, and rape will always be pinned on men no matter what. If a woman rapes a man, she can get away scots free. Heck, even if she raped a young boy as a high school student. There are women right now being jailed for it. Others? Not so much. There have been a 44-year-old woman who raped a 15 year old student but was allowed to marry the boy per the mother’s permission. See how crazy society can be? And let’s not forget how Villi Filau felt when he stayed married with LeTorneau. All these young boys who must marry these women,, even if they were raped but end up tragic shipwrecks.

Your article in this blog seems way too one-sided and does not invite open discussion about both sexes. Then again, I cannot fault you for writing this because from reports that I’m hearing, Australia is a feminist stronghold.

In any case, have a good afternoon, or in your words (if I’m correct), g’day mate.

    • annon

If this blog is one sided then this post has fallen into a singularity of a single infinite side streching out into infinity.

      gday

    • I don’t know why I’m not getting notification of comments but now I’ve seen this I’ll just take the time to point out what an utter cunt you are. Seriously, you are a contemptible, vile worthless excuse for a human.

  4. oh dear

I am sure I read in an online newspaper last year or the year before that a judge in england declared that a man was innocent of rape because the woman that he raped was sleeping in the same bed as him.

I wonder if all of the excuses that men use to justify rape would seem relevant to them if they were considering male rape.

Justification of rape sickens me and only sick people do it

  5. Howdy would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a difficult time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique.

P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had
    to ask!
